No boggy it was a double yolker and it was already developing when I got it but six. Whoop whoop. This is the farthest I have EVER made with duck eggs literally

That's a great idea chickster, I have a decent flashlight, but I still can't see in the olive eggs . No clue how they are developing :/

Already peeked 2 times today, better not disturb them anymore today, LOL. Will try it in a few days for sure! Those dark eggs are sure a pain to candle....

Seeing that all you peoples had luck candling your coloured eggs I gave it a shot with my many different browns, pinks and brown speckled. I could only see one of my barred rock's eggs (it's got veins on day 5, SO COOL!!!!!) Then I decided that silkie eggs had to be easier because they are lighter in colour. Bothering poor Midnight the broody silkie I started to look at her eggs all but one of them are developing. Super cool to candle eggs when you have the right eggs to candle!
