first snow fall of the year

    I took this picture standing in my porch. I thought it was so pretty with the fresh wet snow this morning. The birds didnt know what to think of it.I just relize how to make a bigger picture.lol

    Lovely photo. I like snow so much better in photos (or from my window) than in real life...lol. So did your chickens venture out into it???

    thanks. Yes they are ventureing in it. At first they stopped dead and then kinda tip toe out and now they are fine. I have a black banty ..She always flies out of the coop first. Well i had to laugh. She did what she always did. When she landed. I swear her eyes got really big. She jumped so high. Like to say what the heck is that. It was so funny.

    Beautiful pic and cute story on banty. I personally love the snow when the sun is out. LOL I don't care if it is zero out as long as there is a blue sky and deep snow.

    We just got a few flurries on Friday. Not enough to cover the grass, can't wait for that!! Good pic!
