First Soft Shell egg

The advice that I have been given on BYC for soft shell eggs and being egg bound is to give them calcium citrate +D3- the kind humans take. One tablet a day until they lay normal eggs. If you search calcium citrate, you can see some of the threads about it.
 
Does she have access to calcium such as egg shells and oyster shells? Even if you use layer feed they usually need more calcium.
