I finally did hear back from him in reply to my email (not my phone call) on Sunday. He said the item was on back order with the supplier. This upsets me because I would have ordered it from somewhere else had it been marked "out of stock". He said I "didn't indicate an urgency" with my order. Well, no! I expect it to be shipped within 24 hours (or next business day) If it can't be shipped its certainly not my job to start calling and asking if it was shipped! It's their job to let me know they don't have it!
In the email he said it was at my local fedex facility on Sunday, but the truck came today and didn't bring it....so I don't know. I did call another vet supply place Friday afternoon and placed an order for 2 gallons of Oxine with them. It was in stock and will be here tomorrow. So......I suppose I'll have a LOT of Oxine now!
I do know how valuable he has been to the chicken raising community, I have read many instances of his advice saving the life of a sick bird. I respect his knowledge and expertise.....I just don't think I'll order from him again. I'm sorry he's been ill. A simple "orders will not be filled till XXday" banner on the site would have avoided this issue.
