Does the bidding increment after the last bid or is your "high amount" the one taken, as in live bidding?

I mean, if I were to bid $125, would the system increment to $85 or something until someone else bids it up that high?

The bid history didnt seem to work on the other test auction. Is it because its Buy It Now?

Is there a way to make proxy bidding I just noticed that when you bid over the amount it just goes to that amount instead of bidding up to it
