So hubby hears a chirp in the loft.....wall! He climbs up, and catches one little chickie all alone, brings it to the house. He found another one three feet down in the loft wall, of course it found the only hole up there to fall down into. Dear, sweet hubby chopped a hole in the stable wall to get him out!
And the two mama hens have more chicks out in the field. We gathered them up, tucked everyone away for the night, and here are a few pics of the chicks, and one of the mamas waiting for the reunite...
So the count is 11, out of about 15. One other was found doa, probably resort of the jump from the loft. More pics tomorrow!
But I cannot figure out how to change the title, to show I have pics...some Mod help, maybe?
