How cool, I am farely new to chickens within the last year, I am currently hatching my first batch of eggs. This as been a very interesting read, can't wait to see pictures.

Yesterday the first emu egg hatched at 51 days old. It weighs 408 grams and I think it's a boy, (because of the bull's eye on his head, but I might get the DNA test taken for him.) My computer is being stupid for inporting pic's. sorry for the delay.
