First-time broody, first-time broody owner

Update! Our six chicks are almost 7 weeks old. I had hoped that ONE of the six was a hen, but alas, no! SIX cockerels! Still, they are awesome. They free range with the big ladies and roo during the day, and are in a tractor coop at night. I think when they are big enough to start getting testosteroney, I will move their coop to the front of our 10 acres and have a bachelor flock. I am assuming there is NO way they will all get along once they are older, correct? (Have 10 hens, 1 roo).

Interesting, I went by the size of the combs and wattles at certain ages. I think they will all be red, but in my experience the roos develop faster. Keep us posted!
