First time Broody hatcher!

Ok make sure she eats and drinks. Push her off the nest for 5 mins so that she can get food and drinks. She should be seperated from all other hens and roos. (Hens try to lay eggs with the broody, roos trie to mount the sitting hen) you will have to clean the nest daily (The broodys save up there poop untill they poop out a dog sized pile)

Thank you, HBO!

No wonder why there's always big dog-looking poops in her broody place. (On the floor, not where she's brooding). She is separated from everyone else.

Is it normal for her to get all puffy and start quietly screeching when I want to touch her? And how do I clean it if she gets her puffy self?

The food and water should not be real close. She will get off and poo away from the nest. Hopefully you gave her all the eggs at one time or she just has her own from the start. Most hens will get off daily on their own.. Just sit back and let her be.
Her food and water are about 3 feet away from her. She's a little raised up. Is that okay?

She had all her eggs from day one (zero?), with the exception of 4 serama eggs on day 2. (Day 1, you know the math)
