First time chicken owner !!!!

Welcome to BYC! You've received some good advice/links from some of the other members, and I hope that your chickens (especially the youngest one) will be okay. Good luck.

just give it some time and do the best you can try to put some blueing (a medicine) on the wounds where the feathers are missing so the chickens wont peck at them.
I just got two chickens just started laying and is also missing some feathers right on the spot before the tail but that was because they were in with a rooster. Its been almost 2 or 3 weeks I have had them now and new feathers are starting to grow in where there was a bald spot.

In your first picture - in front there is a smaller red hen(?) that looks hunched up. Is this the small one you are having a problem with? Is she able to have regular poos? I'm wondering if she has some kind of impaction.

Small one has sore, another the bottom beak is longer than the top, one sleeps all day, and one has scaling on its feet !

I see you posted in the emergencies section. You'll get good advice there. Good luck with them!

Glad they found their way to you and you found your way to this sight. I'd bet a bottom dollar you are in good hands here to help you with your newest family members.
Wish you all a speedy recovery.

I am extremely grateful to all the information!!!! timing was key, added bonus our local feed store is around the corner!!! Everyone who has helped me as I navigate through here for the first time thank you! :)
My chickens have been bathed; poopy bum is clean, all are on antibiotics and I have some electrolytes also. No eggs for a bit as they will have penicillan traces in them :( (allergic) & feet treated with a medicated balm. These guys had a busy day. So hopefull to see them happy tommorow, and went out for the first time, one by one after baths so I could clean the coop!
