First time dealing with wry neck

Well, she has made a complete recovery, as of about 4 weeks ago! But I have noticed something about her behavior...she doesn't scratch AT ALL. She is not limited in her movements or abilities, and she eats all the time. But she just won't scratch around like the others. I've looked at her feet closely, they look fine. Weird, right? Not that there's anything I can do about it...

Glad to hear that she is back to normal. Have you tried throwing scratch or corn down in front of her to get her scratching? Hopefully, she is okay. If she won’t scratch, then you may have to trim her nails occasionally so they don’t become overgrown.

Yes, I have tossed mealworms in the hay just in front of her, but she uses her beak to pick them out! Good point about the toenails, I will keep an eye out. All other behavior is normal, so I assume she's ok, just not a scratching kind of chicken!
