Has anyone had experience with Valley Hatchery

I’m curious as to why use cackle hatchery stock photos for the standard old English game fowl on your site?
Rarely does a hatchery raise every breed they sell.If you saw a photo of a Cackle hatchery English game fowl on its website its fair to say they use Cackle to fill their orders for that particular breed

I have 10 beautiful Buff Orpington hens I ordered from Valley Hatchery. i received them May 2015. My order was originally 5 chicks and got 11! I am in a city with a number of 3 allowed. One perished in a freak accident but all very healthy. 5 are laying l great eggs. Needless to say I was a bit overwhelmed by the number since 5 is all I expected . I had Intentions to re-home some but have gotten too attached so i'll continue with all 10 unless neighbors complain. I keep things neat and no odors. and share eggs! They are a joy to watch but lots of work on a large brick patio and 10'x25' dirt area on the side of the house. So happy to have them and to have my first chick order from Valley Hatchery be so sucessfu.l
Do you have a picture about your large brick patio/ 10×25 feet dirt area?.What fencing do you use and what shed
with area for laying eggs, did you make?( I have not started yet but preparing South California)[email protected]

I found this online. the prices are reasonable, shipping very reasonable selection is not extensive but interesting. 15 chick minimum.

Regarding valley hatchery:
My experience was not thrilling. This was to be my first and my last venture with this company.
The box containing my newbies, was well secured, in that no-one could peek at the chicks along their journey. This is a good thing as it helps the chicks to remain healthy.
However, as we arrived home from the PO, unsecured and opened the container, we found that the very-heavy desiccant packet was not adhered to the wall of the box (per the usual). In fact, the film that covers the adhesive, was still attached to the sticky portion of the packet. This led me to understand, someone had simply thrown it in the box with the tiny babies. One of the chicks had a wing that looked as though it had obtained damage. While there were two others also in distress (probably hurt and hungry). All of the contents in the box had shifted considerably and there was no little cup for any type of hydration or feed for their journey!
Three of these day old babes died as a result of this disaster. I am heart-broken and my dog was traumatized by the events endured.
Near $200. was spent on 5 chicks, shipping and small order bill - I had need to send them photos of the my 'set up' and the dead hatchlings, one I had to exhume from it's final resting spot, horrific indeed. After all of the trouble, I was refunded $17. With valley hatchery sighting that the PO was at fault. How can this be with evidence pointing to the contrary.

Blessings ~

I’m sorry but how was your dog traumatized?
