Where did you purchase him from? Most of the feed stores in my area know nothing about poultry.

so i guess i will be going back to get a goose and make sure its a goose this time... But this time we will get a male goose and a female goose.. So i guess instead of have one duck one goose we will have two ducks and two geese

Did they vent sex the birds for you? You can't tell from looks in most breeds.
