This little guy pipped last night at 11 pm and has made some progress and is peeping up a storm but he looks dry (his bill is out). Should we leave him alone? I don't want to open the incubator (temp is at 100 and we increased humidity).

Are those paper towels damp? I would get rid of those. They can soak up humidity from the egg, which is not good. Try and keep it moist with some coconut oil if you can. It may hatch on t's own without any problems but here is a good article on assisted hatching...Step by Step Guide to ASSISTED Hatching | BackYard Chickens and

It made it out. Looks like a small piece is stuck to its back but it's still working on it.

It made it through the night but is still on its back and moving a lot but feet haven't opened and I'm concerned.

It's absorbing the yolk...In the first picture it looks like you assisted the hatching process?..It appears to be a bit of blood on the shell..Its important to not interfere or assist unless absolutely necessary ..They pip the shell and it can take another 24 hours before they zip out...During that time they absorb the yolk and the blood vessels stop being blood filled..If you rush things the Ducklings can bleed to death...

You can place that Duckling that first hatched into a margarine container on a soft bed of Kleenex till its fully absorbed the yolk and finds its legs..You can put it in the Brooder if you want?..do not try to feed or water it...
