This is a video of my Border Collie / Blue healer mix interacting with the oldest of the 2 ducks. He loves them and is so patient with them. He was raised with chickens, and likes to herd them.
Truth be known.. He likes to follow one of the chickens around. He doesn't try to hurt the chicken, he just likes to stand right over the top of it. So the chicken spends all day walking, not running from "Shadow". He is a really good dog. He will just lay down sometimes and watch them for hours.

My border collies do the same thing. They are very gentle with my ducks and just lay there with them or follow them around. I think my ducks think they are ducks also because they couldn't care less when they are in the run with them. I'd put my female collie in with them all day if she would just stop dining on their poop!

LOL YES!
This happened, and my wife almost peed herself.

The duck pooped on the floor (yuck), the dog INSTANTLY ate it, then immediately turned his head, and licked my mouth.

My wife went "Oh no he, OHH SHADOW, OMG! LOL. He just poopy kissed you! Im never kissing you again! HAHA!"

Read that sentence out loud, with excitement in your voice. That's how fast it happened.

I told her to keep laughing, duck tastes good! (Just kidding of course)
