Good luckSetting 42 eggs today! I am very eggcited, 10 are fertilized shipped eggs, 8 are from a friend who has hens and roosters but doesn't know if they are fertile, and the rest are from the grocery store, I am testing to see if you can hatch any from the store. I have organic, range free, cage free, and then "normal" brown eggs.

I am going to use the dry incubation methoddon't know why I'm not getting emails about this but got this one . I think this puts you right up there with Walnuthill for hatching outside the box . what about your hygrometer did you calibrate it . do what the lady's say and you'll be fine. good luck with your project.

set up the brooder stop the turner till the hatch is complete. I've had three hatch in the turner this year and all have been fine . and the turner was going. I found them after they had hatched . your egg must have been under a broody hen for a week. Its no big deal . check the others for more pips .HELP!!!!!! So I have been gone the last 3 days. When I came back today I was watching tv and heard chirping from incubator. I went and looked at it and and egg has a big pip in it. When I was candling this egg's veins were very thick, it is day 14!!! This egg came from my friends farm. What should I do??? Eggs are in a turner???
