First Time Egg Candler Scared!

The brown and yellow look like clears to me. They are pretty porous as well. I would not expect to get eggs that porous from a buyer. (If they were from a buyer?) Not that they can't/don't hatch, just that I would want my best to go to the customer, and porous are not the "best".
Air cell looks good to me for day 7.

I have heard that about porous eggs, but a friend gave me 24 EE eggs for us to split the hatch, and they were the most porous I have ever seen. Hatched 22

I have never had an issue with mine either. But if I were going to sell any, I would hold those back because of the "negative reports" on porous eggs.

Thanks Amy. Should I wait until day 14 to throw out the browns? Should I toss the yellow eggs now? I purchased them all and I thought that many of them were porous.

The SLWs are from someone that does not sell eggs though in his defense. He typically only sells chicks and I asked him for some eggs. SLW eggs for $1 a piece isn't too bad.

The BLRs on the other hand have a lot of porous eggs and they were $35 for the eggs.

I don't toss any of mine until day 10 just to be safe. (But I've never had one I set aside as clear, not stil be clear 3 days later. When I candle day 7, I set any I think are clears to one side of the bator for recheck day 10.)

If it's not developing, I would assume no bullseye

At what point (age of egg/period of incubation) would you stop being able to tell if there was or not? Or is there a period it becomes unclear???
