First time Goose raiser....so what'd we get?

Like the title says, this is our first year with geese. We got 2 geese of unknown breed when we ordered our ducks this years as part of package deal from the hatchery. They're currently about 9 or 10 weeks old and are already towering over everyone. Can anyone identify what breed(s) we got and maybe even whether we got geese or ganders? They appear to be the same breed, only one has a bit of dewlap coming in and is bigger than the other.

You will be able to tell soon. But the bigger one with the dewlap is an African. The other could well be a Chinese if there is a considerable size difference. It will become obvious soon in the size difference if it isn't already. As far as determining the sex. Later they will be able to be sexed based on the size of the nob. If you know someone who has geese they could also check them for you or show you how to sex them.
