Thanks! I'll have to dig out the syringe that I used to blow eggs out before Christmas. Its a really big one and should make it easy to add water through the vent holes.

Good luck to everyone who is just getting their eggs started! The kids have enjoyed the whole ordeal.

Note to self: On next hatch put the extra water container closer to the vent holes and watch out for splash or it gets on the windows.

We awoke to one hatched and still wet. Just finished watching #2 zip its way out. It sure was fast once it started zipping. Glad the kids got to see before they went to school.

One more has started zipping & all but 4 eggs have visible pips.

So far the two chicks look like the hen that I think laid all of these eggs. She's a NHR and daddies are RIR. I am still hoping that at least one may be from either my SS or GLW.
