first time hatcher in lock down as of yesterday

I personally do not do a staggard hatch I don't open the bator at all for 3 to 4 days. I get my best hatches this way. When you open it you let cooler air in and humidity out which will IMO kill chicks. Can you slip something down the vent hole to rotate the eggs. I would try that first. I know others who do open the bator to turn staggard hatching eggs but it is something I avoid.
Good luck!

I would rotate the eggs until the first one pip's but not after that. I just turned the eggs the humidity doesn't stay down for long but if one has come through the shell it could lose moisture very fast.
I'm sure you'll hear from people who have done this long enough to know.
