First Time Hatching A Duck Egg, Please Help!

Quickly opening and closing it won't be an issue.

I took it out and candled it but still didn't see it moving around in the egg, it doesn't smell so I have a little bit of hope.

Update: Day 27 still nothing, I candled it and saw no movement in the egg. It still looks exactly like the first photo. However a friend recommended I whistle at it like a chick would peep and it seemed to wiggle a tiny bit, either that or my eyes were playing tricks on me. Should I keep it on lockdown and check again at day 30? I'm a worried mess.

I would keep it locked down for a couple more days. If it was abandoned it may have slowed down the growing process a little so it would be a late hatch.
