I am just so happy for you! I saw your post and started yelling for my husband. "You're never gonna believe this!" (I've been updating him on this thread and he's just excited as I am) What an awesome surprise! Nature is amazing.

Good for happiness; bad for chicken math! We are codependent enablers when it comes to chickens! Tomorrow is lockdown for my Silkie batch and next week is lockdown for my second batch of Serama. We have a row of "pretty sure they're quitters, but not ready to toss just yet" eggs. We candled last night and we found two of the "dead eggs" had movement, so I couldn't be happier. I might finally get my Seramas!

Is it totally out now?? It was zipping so it should be out by now. I ask because that membrane looks awful dry/sticky and my worry is if it can complete the job. So let us know!!!

Awe! You gotta name him/her something that fits the story. "Lucky" would definitely be a good fit.
