First time hatching duck eggs, is this normal?

It's been 24 hours since it externally pipped(at narrower end of egg) with no changes. I hear very faint peeping now and then. Humidity still around 74. Should I just be patient and give it more time?

Ducklings take longer than chicks to pip and zip.
That looks normal to me.
I’ve had a few pip on the narrow end and they were able to hatch on their own.
May have taken a little longer.

At about 30 hours after external pip. No changes...Very faint peeps now and then. Is it too early to assist?

Does the membrane look dry?
If it has been 30 hours with no progress, you can choose to assist.

Thanks I did read the assisted hatching guide. Hard to see membrane, through the small hole, I can see black feathers and breathing movements

The other egg is 6 days behind... unfortunately I accidentally staggered them

Staggered hatches can be hard.
