First Time Hatching Help

This is my first time attempting to hatch my own little guys but not going so well. What percentage of eggs should I expect to make it through?

It really depends on your eggs, and the conditions they are being incubated under.... Can you post what kind of incubator you are using? Forced air or still? Are they shipped eggs? What kind of birds? Have you candled your eggs to know for sure if they started developing? Maybe this will give everyone a better idea on how to help you.

I'm using a little Giant with a Forced Air Fan and Auto-Turner. Keeping the temp at 95.5 and Humidity at 45% - 50%. When I candle them only like maybe 20% look alive.

It's too cool. It should be 99.5. What day are you on?

Hatching rates depend on more than how you incubate them. How old were the eggs before you set them? How old/young is your rooster etc. Which day are you on now? Most of the time you can't really tell what's happening in an egg before day 7 and some even later.

I use the same exact setup and get really good hatches. There are so many variables to hatching that you can get anywhere from none to all hatching. If I think an egg is not growing I always keep it in the incubator for a few more days just to make sure. Darker eggs can also be harder to candle, too. I have one egg in the incubator right now that I still can't see any veins in, and just yesterday (day 13) I saw movement. It's alive I just can't see it clearly. I hope that was a typo with the 95.5 temp???

Yes it was a typo. I've been keeping temp at 99.5. Thanks for all your help hatching has begun and going great .
