sorry to hear that. Had a similar experience with chook eggs incubated under a lightbulb in the lounge when the hen went suddenly awol! Out of 6 bought eggs got all but one to hatch, but lost 2 in a couple of days. Of that 2 were roos and the one I kept .

hi everyone, sadly the second duckling passed away as well. The other remaining two are very active though, so there's that i guess...

not sure, but i guess it all started with that one duckling who was not using one leg (???) one thing i noticed though is the ones that died were the ones that needed to be pulled out of the egg by me.
