First time in the new bator

I just set 10 game eggs, 3 ee, 3 dominiques, and 3 leg horns. The game birds are pure breed, the others bred with my Ee roo. Wonder what I will get. And advice is welcomed. Question. How much water do I put in???

Do you have a hygrometer to measure the humidity? I would suggest putting enough water in the trough to keep the humidity at about 30-40%.
I couldn't tell you what your chicks will look like, but it should be a fun surprise! I love surprise chicks!

No. Where do I get one

You should be able to find a digital one at Walmart for $10 or so. I think they are kept with other weather related stuff there. You can even find one that is a thermometer/hygrometer combo, which can be very nice.
I use an analog type that you could also find at pet stores for lizard and snake habitats.

How can I get the humidity to go down. I took all the water out and it is at about 50 o/o

Try putting dry wash cloths and/or dry paper towels in there. If you have instant rice that can help too
