I got 5 guinea eggs 3 days ago and started incubating them. My Turner motor was chewed by my rabbits and doesn't work, so I have to manually turn them until I get a new motor. I read that they incubate for 28 day but it would be more helpful by getting more info.

BTW: if anyone has an egg Turner or Turner motor that will fit model 4200 farm innovators incubator please pm me, thank you :)

Guineas always hatch in 26 or 27 days for me, so keep in mind they might hatch a day or two early...

Beyond that pretty much everything you read about chicken eggs applies, they just take a few days longer...

On a side note based on my experience, unless they are caged up into breeding pairs or trios fertility can be low at times especially on the real porous looking eggs...

Replacement turner motors can be found on Ebay or on poultry sites for about $15 delivered, most hobby/home turners use the same motor...

Alright thank you very much!!

Candled the eggs today is day 10 and 4 out of 5 look fertile, the 5th one has veins on it but I cant see the baby moving inside so I wrote "unknown" on the shell with a pencil while the others I wrote "fertile" because I saw the babies.

My turner bit the dust too. My husband screwed a cut off popsicle to it, so all I have to do is grab and push/pull.
Makes it pretty easy turning them all at once.
All I have to do is remember the timing.

My dad fixed the Turner with some clipping of the cord and electrical tape. It works now which is good because i set like 18 duck eggs
