First Time Incubating. *Pics*

Well I'm going to do a lot with this incubator when I'm done with this run. Temp holds great. Humidity I keep between 40-45%. Holds good. Getting to 70% maybe be a problem. But won't know till Saturday when they go go to lock down.

I'm going to paint the outside and the inside either paint it or put R13 in there. Paint would just be easier. I have to readjust the shelving. Change out the fan. The fan now is WAY to big. Get a few computer fans and place on the top back. has 3 light. 1 stays on all the time. 2 are controlled by the wafer therm. May take the one that stays on all the time out. And move the other 2 just a bit closer to the back and have each fan blow over each bulb.

Also for the heck of it, going to build a 48qt cooler bator. Why not!! HAHAHHA

That's what I am hoping!! But it will be awhile. Getting Ricky Bates bloodline of Heritage RIR's. And Paul Harters Heritage Delawares. Plus light brahmas. Going to be very busy I hope. HAHAHAHA

I really, really hope I've done the incubating well...

I've made myself plans for the weekend to be away a few hours Saturday and Sunday, so I don't get too tempted to help any chicks out. My Incubator will still have nose prints on it, but not as many as it could.

This post has a lot of smilies.. I think it expresses my jumping emotions. Is anyone else going from happy to worried several times a day?
