I can't wait to see your little ones in the brooder!

I'm going to pop some of my own in the brooder soon. My Australorps are really naughty, they keep trying to eat everything, including other eggs and the fluff off each-other. I opened the incubator for a second to get some shells out because the chicks we accidentally jamming them onto the un-hatched eggs. Humidity was down for less than minute before it went back to 65%.

So far I have 1 Welsummer,1 Wyandotte, 1 light Sussex, 1 home grown Isa Brown and 8 Australorps. All but 1 egg had pipped, though I'm a little worried about one of the Wyandottes because the pip is so far down (about half-way down the egg).

I have 10 eggs left that should hatch, wish me luck!

P.s. it's my second day running on less than 4 hours sleep. But so totally worth it.

Nice! I believe its ok to crack them open for a bit to tend to chicks and shells even though the die hards would slap my hand for it. So glad your getting a good hatch!

Right back at you. We're doing pretty well considering. I put my batch in at 7.30 pm, so technically 21 days haven't even passed yet.

I'm up to 18 now with 5 more pipped that I can tell. I all so got a few pics
