Oh wow. Cool! Sounds like a lot of work, but it'll be cool to have an Owl friend when it grows up.

It was the parents' first time and didn't trust them to incubate them properly. Turns out that was a good decision. I gave them back all the infertile eggs and they would slip out from under her all the time, then if they weren't in her line of sight she wouldn't notice.

Also it's important to imprint owls on humans as early as possible if you want them to be a pet.

Baby number one is doing really well!

just kind of support it with one hand and use forceps to feed it small pieces. Once you touch the beak a little he starts trying to grab at the food.
