Three so far, my little backwards pip is not going to hatch out i think but i dont want to risk chilling the others to get him out of the bator to help him. Theres one more pip now

Walking north. I am in and out of my incubator all the time. I keep my house in about 68 and have never lost 1 yet just make sure that it's not open long enough to lose the humidity

White Wing. My oldest dominate male is a huge white guy. I am hoping that some of these golden babies have white on them too. Its my fave color combo but harder to accomplish.

Lordy! I just read all of this. What alotta trouble to deal with. I have a littlegiant. Previous owner installed a fan. I fill the gutters keep the heat as close to 99.5 as possible till lock down. It slips around as low as 98 and once it shot up to 103! I have a reptile enclosure therm. Has a cord that hangs about level with the top of the eggs. At lock down I lay down paper towels and a big wet sponge. I keep the sponge wet enough that condensation hangs in the bator windows. I gave up candling, never saw anything in these spotted eggs. So far eggs from my birds hatch at about 99%. Shipped eggs not so well. James Marie I hatched 7 outa 100. But we had a power outage for several hours one night :(
