First time layers laying in the rafters and no have stopped laying

Two of my hens started laying last weekend but they are not laying in the nesting boxes but up in the rafters where they sleep. I have put fake eggs in the nesting boxes hasn't helped How do I stop this? Also i was getting two eggs a day and now im getting one every other day if im lucky. I am new to chickens so not sure what is going on with them.

Nests look good.

Do you want them sleeping up in the rafters? I wouldn't, since it looks like they're pooping up there. You could kill 2 birds with 1 stone by blocking access to the rafters with taut bird netting or chicken wire.
