First time layers

Our hen laid 3 eggs so far and all are soft- why?

Have you started her on layer feed yet? I believe soft shells are caused by a lack of calcium.

Are they on layer feed? If not are you giving them oyster shells? If you are doing neither that is probably the problem.

Not unusual for new layers to have egg quality issues as their systems get used to laying.
