First time owner. Doing great thanks to BYC.

I bought my chicks at Easter time and they are doing great. It is my first time owning chickens and I have learned so much from this website and forums. I bought 6 Plymouth Barred Rocks straight run and ended up with three hens. I also bought 6 sex linked buff orpingtons which are all hens and 10 Easter Eggers. I ended up with five cockerels and five pullets with the EE's. I guess I was lucky I ended up with 50-50 gender on my straight run buys. Its been almost 16 weeks and it's time to decide which roosters go to the dinner table. I'm thinking of keeping the bigger dominant Barred Rock and two Easter Eggers.
