First time owner of backyard chickens

i currently have 10 chickens; 2 silkie hens, 2 sapphire hens, 2 white leghorn hens, 2 bantam brown leghorn roosters and two roosters that I’m trying to figure out their breed. It has been a fun and exciting start. I have learned the hard way on purchasing chicks as I ended up with more roosters than I wanted. I’m looking to learn how I can become better with my current flock and any future additions.
