Had my first positive sign of predator incursion into my chicken yard this morning

Can’t think of any way that is chicken or goose.

Looks like foxes.
That would make sense. They are one of many potential predators around here, including feral cat, feral dog, coyotes, bob cat, raccoon, bear, weasel, skunks, opposum, etc.
I’m no tracker so my guess was coon. Neither raccoon nor fox are good for chickens.
I’m single and a visiting nurse. There have been times I’ve not been able to get home until after dark. I need to get an auto coop closer. I’ve been blessed so far. I’ve had my chickens out side in run and coop since July and this is the first confirmed “sighting” of predator incursion

This does not look like fox.. Do you have bobcats around where you live? Bobcats have retractable claws and foxes don't.. I don't see and claw prints above the toe prints so that automatically makes me think it is a feline..

This is a picture of a fox trail and bobcat,
You can clearly see where the claws on the fox punctured the snow

Meanwhile with the bobcat you wouldn't be able to see that.

A better picture would be awesome as well as some more info. What was the damage, what protection do you use for your run or coop, etc.
