First time with a broody- hatch day is here-not sure what to do?!!??

X2 I'm not a FB fan. BYC is more than enough for me and quite frankly, the amount of time I spent here...

Spiderlady and Chickenreferee: The problem is... you get chickens. And you get addicted, so you want more and more. And then you get this idea of hatching your own. And you think "how do I do that?" Then you discover BYC. And you get addicted, so you spend your time either here or in the coop, checking on you broody or in front of the incubator, staring at the eggs.

I never thought when I brought home my first chicks that it would turn into this. At the time they were something of a substitute for my horses since I wasn't able to keep them. But now, and I can't believe I'm saying this, I think I like the birds more....and more birds I want! And when you can hatch them yourself, oh dear, it's just gone to a whole new level. My family doesn't really get it. So glad I came over to BYC. I love talkin' chicken...and duck....and turkey....insert desired fowl here____________.
