First time with a broody hen

So take her off set her on the ground and Mark the eggs... sounds easy enough. It’s her and our first broody situation. Do I do this every day?
If you move her now, she may break. Up to you. She hasn't been setting long so you could just toss the eggs and try to get her established on a ground nest.
Broodies bring their chicks to roost when they think the chicks are ready.

My roosts are much higher than that. I was debating making a chicken tractor... I may build one that has roosting bars that allow her and the chicks to grow up there until it’s time to move them to their follow on home.

My hen only had two chicks so... if your coop is already full then you’ll have to make more space, a shipping crate would work
Unfortunately my wife and girls picked up buff Orpingtons that are known for going broody. We have 10-11 eggs a day consistently. I went to put the last egg near her and she bit my hand and I dropped the egg (startled the shit out of me). So I assume she’s sitting on 9-10 eggs. I’ll let her collect today’s eggs as well and then mark them tonight. This will hopefully yield 15-18 chicks... we will give the hens to my sister in law.
