first timer question

So I am going on lock down ...SO I need to take the eggs out of the auto turner but should I put them back in facing a certain direction??

Big end up, unless they are on their sides, and then it doesnt matter.

I have the octo 40, and I leave the dividers in. Without the rolling around, they seem to have an easier time unzipping.

Lots of people use paper cartons in the hatch for that same reason.

Oh sorry one more question how fast do you move them from the bator? I work during the day?

No need to hurry, they can go without food and water for up to about 48 hours because the nutrients that they needed was provided by the egg yolk. Definitely wait until they are dry.
