First timer!

thats what mine sits at... On day 18 the humidity needs to be around 65% I have a water dish with a wet sponge in it but on day 18 if I add another dish and sponge it will bring the humidity right where it needa to be. :)
Hi so the temp dropped to 94 through the night should I start again with me fresh eggs today or should I just carry on and candle them in couple of days see what's going on

Its not suppose to drop below 97. Try and maybe wrap a blanket around the box. Or cut some cardboard pieces and put them in the box. That will help hold some heat as well. I added about 4 small flaps to my incubator. And by flaps i mean i took off the top closing part of the cardboard box and used that.

So should I try that first or still use diff eggs too

Just add the cardboard to it and give it a day or so. Candle the eggs and see if you have anything in them. As long as they didnt go down to 94 for to long. I think they should be ok.

I'm going to be candling my quail eggs today. I have a powerful LED light, what were you sitting your eggs on to take the picture? was thinking it could be a good idea to cut a small hole in some cardboard and then shine the light from underneath?

94 is fine, that will not kill them.. :) it is normal to have short periods of temperature drop, as when the mother hen would get off the nest. it is the very high temperatures that would surely cause death. carry on

I use my flashligh on my phone. I cut a small hole in a piece of cardboard to fit over the light. Then i carefully place the eggs on it and move the cardboard till its over the light. You can see that in one of the poats I made yesterday. :)
