We currently placed 18 eggs in our Little Giant forced air incubator. This is our first time trying to hatch. We got our eggs from our own flock that consist of our 1 Ameraucana rooster, 5 Rhode Island red hens and 4 Cornish hens. Tonight is day 7 for us so we decided to candle. We are concerned because we saw no spots and no veining. The temperature dropped over night on day 3 to 97.3 but has been consistent since and humidity has stayed true from about 52% to 58%. Should we consider this a wash or wait till day 14 to candle again. Any suggestions or tips are welcome.... Thanks in advance !

Wait til day 9 or even 10 and try again before calling it a wash. Also try a different flashlight to candle, I just discovered led works best for me.

Thanks I think thats what we will do, in the mean time crossing our fingers!
