Which came first...

As I understand it, chickens are domesticated animals descended from wild jungle fowl. If this is so, then somewhere in the mists of time a crafty agriculturalist mixed some strains of jungle fowl and they begat something close to modern chickens. So, it seems that the egg came before the chicken.

I think there was a movie on the subject: "Chickens in the Mist" or maybe "Quest for Chooks" or perhaps "Poultry of the Serenghetti". ;-)

#6- the egg, when animals grew and evolved animals would have a child(egg) and it was diffrent then them, so when the first egg with a REAL chick in it hatched it was diffrent then what layed it, so the first chicken started as an egg!
