I just hatched my first turkey poult!
I'm so happy!
Sadly, for me, he/she has a home already with my friend. They will be getting it after I know that it knows what food and water is.
I can hear another one pecking on the shell... it's been pecking since yesterday afternoon, I still really haven't seen a pip, so do you guys think it'll be okay... if it's having trouble when do you think it would be alright to help it? I'm not going to rush into it if you guys are of the opinion it would be alright, I've just never hatched my own turkey so I don't know how long it takes to safely hatch.
The baby (or soon maybe babies) will be bourbon red X royal palms. Curious to know what they would look like.
