Fisher cats

Cats are no match for foxes and coyotes either and I've had both of those attack during the day. Around here it's the coyotes taking any outdoor cats.

I've never had a fisher problem during the day, and the resident ones don't like to come close to the house. But the raccoons certainly do.

Oh good! I think we’ve been lucky because I haven’t seen any foxes or raccoons or anything of that nature either, and I’m quite the night owl so tend to notice raccoons if they’re running around.

Edit: good that fishers don’t attack during the day (figured I should be specific)

Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they ar not there. In fact if you live in the US you most likely DO have all of the above living amongst you.

I know fishers travel a very large territory so many nights could pass before they happen your way.

there just a big weasel or mink if you want to think of them like that.

don't have many around where i live, but i would want a secure, fence.

Fishers will hunt during the day if they are hungry enough.

Yeah I believe you’re right aart, I think they mistakenly I’d it a fisher but most likely is a mink.
