Buff frizzle is only a description of the color and feather type, not the breed. Usually in the bantam breeds, the frizzled birds are cochin if the legs are feathered. Also i didn’t think the frizzles had feathered legs and toes?
Bantam cochins have four toes, yellow legs, feathers on legs and feet, straight comb. Ideally, the feathering on the feet should continue down the second to, to the end.Bantam cochins have feathered legs and five toes.
I actually here now! Let me see if i can get updated pictures!I would love to see an updated picture of the yellow baby's wings. I'm thinking sultan, but I have never seen one as a frizzle.
The others, if you have an updated picture of them standing, from the side, I can usually tell if it is OEGB or Japanese.
What is an OEGB?? I’ve normally only dealt with normal chicken breeds lol bantams haven’t been in my flockI'm going to say OEGB and sultan. I think the feathers have unusually long sheaths, but I don't think it's Frizzled.
Hoover's supplies most of the TSC in the south east us, but someone else has to send birds there. We have many bantams purchased at tractor supply that Hoover's doesn't carry. Buff laced/chamois sebright, pynchions, bearded d'Anvers, silver and gold laced Cochins, to name a few.
I guess I'm saying, based on probability they are likely sultan and OEGB, but time will tell for sure.![]()
Old English game bantam. I thought they may be the Japanese. But stop them stay black?I'm going to say OEGB and sultan. I think the feathers have unusually long sheaths, but I don't think it's Frizzled.
