I just remembered last night that in my Literature class I read in the book that the author Flannery O'Connor raised peafowl. I wasn't even looking for an article about this when I stumbled across this article about O'Connor and her peafowl so I decided I should share this since it keeps popping up: http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/pageviews/flannery-o-connor-peacocks-blog-entry-1.1640856

It said she had around 40 to 50 free range peafowl at one point. I bet she would like all the varieties there are to choose from now.

Very interesting...

In English class today I was flipping through my textbook and found Flannery O'Connor's literature. I remembered your post and thought that was cool that she had peafowl. Thanks for sharing.

That is cool I forgot if I liked her as a writer, all I could remember is that she raised peafowl haha. Oh wait now I remember she wrote "A Good Man Is Hard To Find" and that was one of her writings we read for my class. I didn't really like that story because it was sad.

I see this, and I'm thinking "I've heard of Flannery O'Connor somewhere". Then I remembered it was in a book I just read not to long ago, A Good Hard Look by Ann Napolitano. That sure was a good read!
