What do you use to put over your chicken door when you have it open in the daytime so you don't lose too much heat out of the coop?

Mine is just open, but you could put a clear shower curtain cut into strips there and train the chickens to go through the flaps. This has been done by others for sparrows going into the coop.
This is what I did. I just used some clear plastic sheeting and had it cut into 1.5"-2" strips. I had to push the chickens through it for the first few days and then after that they go right in. worked great to keep the winter draft out
