I will have a box of eggs available to ship tomorrow. The rub is they will be 95% Araucana eggs. The Ameraucanas and the Brahmas have gone on strike. Actually they are molting. Wynette I have you on the list for next spring. Do you want eggs now? For more pictures of my Araucanas see my post under this heading for One Dozen Araucana eggs.

Edited to say:
Oops, looks like this box got taken in another thread, if I read right? A bit confusing, but seems to be sold already? Let me know if it's still available, or perhaps update this threads eggs as sold...

tfpets had written:

I've cleaned up the bators and unplugged the brooder, but what the heck, I live in California? I can have babies all year round!! Are these eggs still available? Your birds are irresistable, and it's the Araucana's I really want! Your 95% Rub is perfect!! If they're ready to ship, and still available, let me know asap! And consider them SOLD! Tina/tfpets

Got your PM thanks! Have PAID and have the Tracking #! Appreciate doing business with you!

Gary,

What have we here?

Sorry for the blurry photos, felt like a one armed paper hanger trying to get pics.

We ended with a pretty good hatch.

A true cross country shipment SC to WA.

Hatch took as long as 23 days, we had a couple of RIR in as a baseline, and they hatched right on time at 21 days.

The Buff Brahma and Araucanas did pretty well, the Ameraucanas had a hard go of it.

Thanks again,

I would say I would do it again, but we just set another batch yesterday.

. I have hatched 3 batches so far and only got one tufted, and it died at 2 weeks. Did you get just the one tufted and is it rumpless?

Krista

This hatch yielded 1 double tufted shown above, 1 black double tufted with one side that is kind of wispy at this time, and one "chipmunk" striped chick (need help with proper color description on this one) similar in coloration to the photo posted above however double tufted, although not as pronounced as the chick shown in photo 1.

It also appears as if we have one single tufted.

From what I can tell, all of the chicks with tufts are rump-less.

Great fun.
