Peck wound probably makes the most sence or fungus because both have had these combs looking similar for 2-3 months and no changes, nothing worse, no one acts sick.
Re: molting - This hen looked like this from May until two weeks ago when she was shivering so bad in the cold she finally sprouted half of her feathers back!
Just about the time she got them back I came out one morning and the five older girls all had their tails missing. Over the course of the year I've singled in out one hen at a time trying to find the feather picker but I think they all do it to themselves. I was just talking to my husband and they are 1.5 yrs old this fall and I honestly haven't seen then molt. They just constantly have feathers missing. It's crazy! No one seems bossy.
They eat a mix of Kalmbach layer crumbles (17%) and Feather Fixer pellets (18%) they get BOSS, a little flax meal, oyster shells & grit, meal worm treats, garden and veggie scraps, they have a 100x100 yard fenced for them so they're not short on space either. I haven't seen mites or lice but during the summer when some were bald I dusted them anyway. They were dewormed with Ivermec paste too, maybe a month after dusting (They did have worms) They got probiotics after deworming and I try to give it to them monthly, they love ProBios paste

They also get ACV added to their water and another bowl of plain water to choose from. I do not understand their problem LOL, ugh....
No one acts sick, but they're driving me nuts with the feathers.
