Oh Happy Day

I tried my local feed store thinking they had never heard of DE, well they have and they sell it in 50# for $22, also the local garden shop sells it in 5# and 10# bags. Whoo Hooo, anyway any idea how much I can put in my puppy food, he weighs about 3#'s. Thanks for the ideas and any help.

If you can find the DE, sprinkle him and everything he comes in contact with. We strinkled it all over the house, furniture, beds when we had an outbreak of fleas. Left it over night, and vaccuumed up in the am. THen sprinkled the contents of the vac bag over the garden.

I have a friend that uses the DE in her dogs food every day (just a sprinkle) and doesn't use any flea products

Great site and reasonable on shipping especially with gas prices. Thats where i am going to get my DE

these days, but for flea's i use "frontline plus" on my dogs.

I was able to buy the DE at the farmers co-op today. I bought a 50 lb bags and took some to my parents.

We have rubbed down our dogs and cats with it and put a little in their food. I didn't get to put some down at the chickens since I had to check on my parents.

Where did you buy 50# for $22 in Arkansas? I paid $42!!!!!

Well I didn't buy it in Arkansas, I am in SW MO, lol I really didn't think they would have even heard of DE, the other farm stores I shop hadn't (TSC, Atwoods, and Orschelin) but I was happily surprised to learn they knew what it was and sctually sold it. You might try Garden or Nursery shops, that is where I bought mine in 5# bags for $5.49 I think. I don't have a place to store 50#'s yet. Good Luck
